HELP!!

So apparently direction reading in a wine induced haze is problematic! I goofed up my heel and now I am afraid to rip back cause I don't wanna have to start all over again... what do I do? The only solution I can think of is to try and insert a "lifeline" and rip back to there and re knit but I am not sure so, if anyone is reading this and has an answer for me please share... Thanks

So this mornings class got canceled (thanks so much for sending an email so I didnt get up at the butt crack of dawn) and I have a meeting with the academic advisor so I am hanging out in Panera to kill some time. The toe up sock has accompanied me and we are at the heel (yay) . Here are photos , totally grainy b/c of the camera phone but pics none the less.

Still feeling sad... grr I am so on my way to being a boy hater!!! Had my mini girly indulgence and went to B&N for a few books so maybe they will make me smile. I have spent the last couple of evenings just chilling out and trying to destress. Still playing with my toe ups... after a minor setback I am so on track. (I must think I have elephant feet or something)
Nothing else to post cause I am still being a cranky pants.

Love Stinks

yeah yeah... An alternate title for this post could have been "Why I never should have stopped thinking boys have cooties". ( too long though) Was not gonna post this but have been fairly bummed about it so... here it is. for a while now I have been with Dr. X ( or the boy) recently there have been some little fights but there has also been a lot of talk about the m word. well things definitely have taken a turn but unfortunately didn't go there instead it ended and not on a positive note. Things were said that made this worse but I think it has been coming and I was just avoiding the signs. So I guess its back to the dating pool for me... Joy. Hoping for a more positive outlook on things...

Back from the Bridal zone picture to follow. On a different note I received my KMKS package in the mail from Michelle. What a package!! I absolutely love it! Took some photos of it (you'll excuse the poor photos, I suck as a photographer)


The tote she made is too cute. Totally love the quilting thing I would love to be able to do some of that. In the spirit of full disclosure here may have been some chocolate in there but I had a stressful weekend so who knows where it went?!? Naptime for now... night

Bachelorette Party...

The sock and I had quite the "wild" weekend. We went to a bachelorette slumber party at the Sheraton. Since a picture is worth a thousand words I'll leave you with 2 in lieu of a post.


Working on a toe up and making some progress on the monkey sock. I am playing with some Lorna's Laces for the first time... the colors are soooo pretty. Be back soon .

its snowing??

I am seeing live shots of snow on Columbus Ave... all I can say is huh. Wintercoat or tank top weather kindly make up your mind. My mental health sock is almost done so instead of casting on for the other one I started the Monkey Socks in STR Prove it All Night. I am so not the only person who thought of this though, She did too. There must be something on the Jersey air... More later

Better "B" Prepared

After seeing this at Ms. Januaryone I decided I wanted to give this meme a shot. The way this meme works is you post 10 things that begin with the letter you are given. She has nicely Bestowed on me the letter B.
So here goes....
Bumble Bees- My name in Hebrew is Dvora which literally means Bee. Since I was a little girl I have been absolutely fascinated by the bumble bee. So much so that I was gifted with this on the past holidays...
Bookworm- I love to read but lately it has been suffering because of my knitting. I usually have a couple of books I am reading at any given time.
Birthday- This year marks my 25th year so I have committed to 25 by 25. Basically I have a list of things that I want to accomplish within this year.
BBG- Bnei Brith Girls . This was the high school sorority I was part of. Some of my fondest memories involve crazy nights with my BBG sisters. I may have also developed my scary "Spewy" habit there.
Bridesmaid- As I mentioned I am in my Best friends wedding. This weekend is her Bridal Shower, which is stressing me out to no end ( but that is a topic for a whole other post).
Bartender- During my freshman and sophomore year of college this was a major source of income because of that I make a mean margarita.
Blogging- This may be an obvious one but blogging has been such a source of inspiration for me. Lurking on all of these blogs has taught me and inspired me more then anyone will ever know. ( It has also cost me a pretty penny in yarn purchases)
Bruriah- My alma mater. An all girls Jewish high school in the middle of scenic Elizabeth, NJ.
Banana Nut Muffin- My favorite kind of muffin and one of my life quests. I am always trying new recipes for them that come out ok but not perfect.
British- I am a complete nut for all things British especially the accent i am such a total Anglophile it sometimes scares me.
